HAYASTANI HANRAPETUTIUN reported that a retrospective film show of world-famous Armenian director Don Askarian is being held in Boston's prestigious "Harvard Film Archive" as part of the "Director in focus" program January 21-23.
The films "Komitas", "Avetik" and "Life on the Ancient Road of Rome" will be presented.
The first two films brought world fame to the director, and the third one, the director's last work, has been successfully demonstrated in a number of international festivals.
Askarian was born in Nagorno Karabakh and studied history and art in Moscow.
